The space
The higgihaus@cheltenhamlane (#3b) is one of a pair of a beautifully appointed, stylish, and brand spanking new contemporary 3-storey townhouses located in a hidden no-through lane in Stokes Croft, the city’s most ‘hip and happening’ neighbourhood! On weekends the higgihaus@cheltenhamlane is made available to groups visiting the City to celebrate milestone events, but in the week, it becomes a perfect base for a group of four colleagues here for work.
The house is comprised of four spacious and beautifully appointed bedrooms, three bathrooms, an amazing sitting room (which can double as a bedroom), a big kitchen/diner and a rear courtyard.
The kitchen/diner on the ground floor is fully equipped and includes an induction hob, oven, two microwaves, a large fridge, a small freezer, a large capacity dishwasher and a washing machine. The kitchen/diner opens onto a small but perfectly formed private rear courtyard that contains plenty of outdoor seating. In the sitting room, there's plenty of room for guests to play board games (provided), read, listen to music, watch cable TV (Virgin), catch a movie (Netflix) or just relax and unwind around a real fire.
In the bedrooms, you'll find mattresses that are cutting edge, crisp cotton linens and duvets and pillows that are as soft as a bag of kittens. Each bedroom comes equipped with a 43-inch internet-connected smart TV, USB charging points placed immediately adjacent to the bed. In the bathrooms, rainfall showers stand ready to invigorate, and we've even included eco-friendly shampoo and body wash.
The higgihaus@cheltenham lane is perfect for a group of four work colleagues to relax and unwind after a hard day on-site or at the office.

Guest interaction
The higgihaus@cheltenhamlane (#3b) is a self-contained house for the exclusive use of your group during your stay in our awesome city. There is no need for you to interact with us, but should you need anything, we'd be delighted to help. #teamhiggi are a friendly bunch who love Bristol, and it is worth noting that Luke (who was born in Bristol) knows it like the back of his hand (well, the best bits, anyway). Luke is thus a veritable goldmine of places to see, things to do, restaurants to eat at, bars worth a visit and how to get about. We'll provide contact numbers ahead of check-in (feel free to call and say hi).
The neighborhood
The higgihaus@cheltenhamlane (#3b) sits in a hidden no-through lane and is a mere stone's throw from the Cheltenham and Gloucester Roads. Both are chock full of shops, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, pubs, supermarkets and all the transport options you’ll likely need when staying in our awesome city (including the train at Montpelier). Stokes Croft (famed for its street art) is a hop, skip and a jump away in one direction and the independent traders on the Gloucester Road (known locally as Bristol's Indie Shopping District) a couple of minutes in the other.
Getting around
Transport
Transport options are numerous and include buses, taxis and the Montpelier train station, just a short walk away. Buses are frequent, and the Centre is only a few stops away. The train will get you access to Whiteladies Road by way of Montpelier Station (Clifton Down is two stops away). If you’re feeling a little more adventurous and fancy a trip to Bath, then the train from Montpelier goes direct to Bristol Temple Meads (the city’s mainline station).
Parking

If you are coming by car, then there’s space outside to drop your luggage off before locating a parking space on one of the residential streets off the Cheltenham and Gloucester Roads. On-street parking is generally free on the weekends (watch out for those streets that are designated pay-to-park).
